Our Vision |
Our deep desire is to be an authentic New Testament community of believers as described in Acts 2:41-47. We aim to fulfill all the functions of the church in the context of caring relationships. We strive for relational outreach, relational discipleship, and relational ministry. |

What We Value |
| 1. |
We value the word of God
(2 Timothy 3:16-17) |
We believe the Bible alone authorizes our beliefs and behaviors. Therefore, we seek to preach and teach God's word with relevance, practicality, creativity, power, and purity. |
| 2. |
We value full devotion to Jesus Christ
(Philippians 3:16-17) |
Hearing and obeying the word of God leads to transformation into Christlikeness. This transformation is the norm for every believer, and affects every aspect of our lives including work, family life, relationships, recreation, finances, and citizenship. |
| 3. |
We value faith-full prayer
(Matthew 7:7-8; James 5:13-16) |
In prayer we welcome God into every area of our lives. We share our thoughts and feelings with him, and we ask him to share his thoughts and feelings with us. At the throne of our gracious God "we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it" (Hebrews 4:16). |
| 4. |
We value passionate worship
(Matthew 22:27) |
We will seek to express our love and devotion to God through prayer, singing, and living our lives in a way that pleases God. Worship is not about what we get out of it; it is an offering of love to the Lord from the overflow of our hearts. |
| 5. |
We value loving relationships
(Acts 2:42-47) |
The church does not consist of a building and programs; it is a group of people who travel the journey of faith together. Loving relationships in the church mean voluntarily sharing our lives with others for the purpose of mutual support and encouragement. |
| 6. |
We value gift-oriented ministry
(1 Cor. 12; Eph. 4:11-16) |
We view ministry as meeting the needs of people with the resources of God as each person uses the unique S.H.A.P.E. (Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experiences) God has given him or her. Every Christian has been gifted by God for Ministry! |
| 7. |
We value lost people
(Luke 15:7, 32) |
As people who have received the reconciling grace of God ourselves, we seek to communicate his grace in sensitive and creative ways with those who have yet to know him. Because lost people matter to God, they also matter to us, and we will do whatever it takes to reach them with his love. |

What We Believe
In the essentials, unity
In the non-essentials, charity
In all things, love
Statement of belief:
"We believe: In one God--the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. That the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiriation, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living. That man is born with a fallen nature, and is therefore inclined to evil, and that continually. That the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost. That the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin. That believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequently to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. That the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers. That our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgement will take place" (Manual, Church of the Nazarene, 2001-2005, paragraph 26).
